Online Classes Available Now!!

When the Kirbyville Online Community Network (KOL)was created it 
established a partnership with Lamar Institute Of Technology (LIT) 
Workforce Training Department and ACT Centers to provide E-Learning 
classes for our community.  

The LIT ACT Centers will provide training using web course access 
and is a full-service testing and training center offering an 
impressive array of programs to meet your needs. Their extensive 
courseware library (over a thousand titles) covers a number of 
courses from the following categories: 

·	Computers and Information Technology 
·	Industrial Technology & Safety Skills 
·	Management/Leadership &Small Business Operation 
·	Professional & Personal Development  

The majority of courses offered can be taken either at the 
Kirbyville Public Library computer lab or even from the privacy of 
your home.  A visit to the campus will be required for certification 
testing.  
Other services offered through the Workforce Training center at LIT 
include certification and licensure testing, Work Keys profiling and 
assessments, continuing education, skill-specific training. LIT and 
the ACT Center can provide a course to improve the skills of one 
employee or a full range of instruction and testing for your 
business.

The Kirbville Public Library is proud to team up with the competent 
team at Lamar Institute of Technology to bring the training you need

and get you started on furthering your education.
